Switch organisations
You can belong to more than one SteadyOn organisation under the same email — for example, your own business plus a contracting client whose workspace you’ve been invited to.
Where to switch
Section titled “Where to switch”- Click your avatar in the top right.
- The menu lists every org you belong to.
- Click an org name to switch to it.
The whole app reloads in the new org’s context. Sidebar counts, dashboard stats, lists — everything reflects the new org. Settings options (which appear in the bottom dock) follow your role in that org.
Or via User Settings
Section titled “Or via User Settings”- Click your avatar → User Settings.
- Open the Organisations tab.
- See the full list with member counts.
- Click any org card to switch.
How memberships work
Section titled “How memberships work”You can be:
- Owner / admin / member of your “home” organisation — usually the one you signed up to create.
- Guest of any number of other organisations — typically when you’ve been invited as an external consultant or contractor.
Each membership has its own role, set by the inviting org’s owners/admins. Your role in your home org doesn’t carry over.
Leaving an org
Section titled “Leaving an org”To leave a guest org:
- Switch to that org.
- Open Organisation Settings → Danger Zone.
- Click Leave this organisation.
- Confirm.
You’re removed; the org’s owners can re-invite you later if needed.
You cannot leave your home org via this flow if you’re the sole owner — see Transfer ownership first.
