Adjust BRAG thresholds

BRAG colours are computed, not typed — SteadyOn looks at each entity and decides the colour based on rules. The rules ship with sensible defaults but you can tune the thresholds for your org.

  1. From the sidebar bottom dock, click Organisation Settings.
  2. Open the Configuration tab.
  3. In the left rail, pick BRAG thresholds.
  4. Adjust the values for each entity:
    • Hazards — review-amber-days, review-green-days, plus which inherent risk levels trigger red and amber.
    • Incidents — regulator-red-hours (notifiable + unnotified time), investigation-amber-days, stale-investigation-days.
    • Actions — due-amber-days, due-green-days.
    • Inspections — scheduled-amber-days, scheduled-green-days, pass-threshold-percentage, green-threshold-percentage.
  5. Save.

The new thresholds take effect immediately for every list, dashboard card, and detail page.

Defaults are tuned for a small org with a moderate-risk workload:

  • Hazard review: amber inside 14 days, green inside 60 days.
  • Action due: amber inside 14 days, green inside 60 days.
  • Inspection schedule: amber inside 7 days, green inside 14 days.
  • Inspection pass threshold: 80%.
  • Notifiable incident regulator-red threshold: 24 hours.

If your org runs at higher risk (heavy industry, big sites), shorten those windows. If you run at lower risk (small office), lengthen them.

  • Make hazard reviews too frequent and the dashboard goes amber permanently — staff stop trusting the colour.
  • Make action due-dates too lax and overdue actions sit in the list unnoticed for weeks.
  • Lower the inspection pass threshold below 80% at your peril — it’s the de facto industry minimum.
