Invite a team member

Inviting a member is a two-step flow: you send an invite, they follow the link and sign up, and SteadyOn auto-joins them to your org.

  1. From the sidebar bottom dock, click Organisation Settings (building icon).
  2. Open the Members tab.
  3. Click Invite member.
  4. Enter the colleague’s email address.
  5. Pick a role — Owner, Admin, or Member. (See User roles and permissions.)
  6. Click Send invite.

The invitee receives an email with a link. When they click it and sign up, they appear in your Members tab with the role you picked.

When the invitee receives the email, they:

  1. Click the link.
  2. Enter their email and receive a six-digit code.
  3. Enter the code, sign in, and land on the dashboard.

If they already have a SteadyOn account on a different organisation, the invite adds your org to their list — they can switch between the two from User Settings.

A pending invite shows up in the Members tab with status Invited. You can:

  • Resend the invite (in case the email was missed).
  • Revoke the invite if it was sent in error.
RoleUse it for
OwnerThe buck-stops-here person. There can be more than one. Can delete the org.
AdminSenior managers, your H&S officer. Can manage members and settings; can verify actions.
MemberEveryone else. Can use Operations, can’t change Settings or members.

When in doubt, start with Member. You can always upgrade later.
