Change your locale

Locale controls how dates, numbers, and currency are formatted in the UI. Each user picks their own — your choice doesn’t affect anyone else.

  1. Click your avatar in the top right → User Settings.
  2. Open the Preferences tab.
  3. Pick a Locale from the dropdown:
    • System default — use whatever your browser/OS reports.
    • en-NZ — New Zealand English (DD/MM/YYYY, $).
    • en-AU — Australian English (DD/MM/YYYY, $).
    • en-GB — UK English (DD/MM/YYYY, £).
    • en-US — US English (MM/DD/YYYY, $).
    • Plus a few others (de-DE, fr-FR, etc.).
  4. The samples below the dropdown show how dates, times, numbers, and percentages will look.
  • Date columns on lists.
  • Date pickers in forms.
  • Time stamps in audit logs.
  • Number formatting in reports.
  • Currency symbol in billing.
  • Field labels and UI copy stay in English. SteadyOn isn’t translated to other languages yet.
  • Lookup values stay as your org has named them.
