Change your locale
Locale controls how dates, numbers, and currency are formatted in the UI. Each user picks their own — your choice doesn’t affect anyone else.
- Click your avatar in the top right → User Settings.
- Open the Preferences tab.
- Pick a Locale from the dropdown:
System default— use whatever your browser/OS reports.en-NZ— New Zealand English (DD/MM/YYYY, $).en-AU— Australian English (DD/MM/YYYY, $).en-GB— UK English (DD/MM/YYYY, £).en-US— US English (MM/DD/YYYY, $).- Plus a few others (
de-DE,fr-FR, etc.).
- The samples below the dropdown show how dates, times, numbers, and percentages will look.
What changes
Section titled “What changes”- Date columns on lists.
- Date pickers in forms.
- Time stamps in audit logs.
- Number formatting in reports.
- Currency symbol in billing.
What doesn’t change
Section titled “What doesn’t change”- Field labels and UI copy stay in English. SteadyOn isn’t translated to other languages yet.
- Lookup values stay as your org has named them.
