Edit your profile

Your profile shows up everywhere — as Created By, Modified By, Responsible Person, Inspector, and so on. A blank or placeholder profile makes audit trails harder to read.

  1. Click your avatar in the top right → User Settings.
  2. Open the User tab.
  3. Edit any field inline:
    • Avatar — click the image to upload a new one (max 2MB, image only).
    • First name and Last name — click to edit.
    • Email — click to edit. You’ll need to verify the new address on your next sign-in.
  4. Changes save automatically.
  • Audit trails are forever. Every change you make in the app is logged with your name as it stood at the time. If your name is blank or “User”, every change you ever make will look that way in history — and you can’t go back and re-stamp old entries.
  • Other members see your name in pickers, in activity feeds, and on assigned items. A team member who shows up as a blank in the responsible-person list looks like nobody.

Just edit it. From the moment you save, new audit entries use the new name. Historical entries keep the old name (this is intentional — see Audit metadata).

Edit it. SteadyOn will require you to verify the new email by signing in with a code sent to it. If you can’t access the new mailbox, ask an org owner to invite the new address as a fresh member; once you’ve signed up under the new address, transfer your work and remove the old member.
