Enrol a person in a course
An enrollment is the record of a person completing a course. It’s the proof an inspector or auditor will look for.
- From the sidebar, open Training and click the target course (or open People and click a person).
- Switch to the Enrollments tab.
- Click + Enrollment.
- Fill in:
- Person (or Course, depending on which side you started from).
- Status — typically
Enrolledinitially, thenPassedonce completed. - Completed date — when the training was finished.
- Expiry date — auto-calculates from the course’s default validity, but you can override (e.g. if the cert says a different date).
- Provider — the training organisation, if useful for reference.
- Notes — anything specific to this enrollment.
- Save.

Renewing
Section titled “Renewing”When training comes due for renewal:

- Open the existing enrollment.
- From the kebab menu (⋯), click Renew.
- A new enrollment is created, linked to the old one (the supersession link), so the history is preserved.
This way you can show, when asked: “Bob has held current first aid training continuously since 2018” — three certificates back to back, no gaps.
